Privacy Notice
This notice explains what SkinForge collects during the early-access research period and how that information is used.
What we collect
When you submit an idea, we collect the email address and skin description you provide, the version of this notice you accepted, the page version, and limited referral information such as campaign tags and the referring website’s hostname.
We also record anonymous product events, such as viewing an example, downloading a free skin, or starting the form. Analytics records do not include your email address, complete skin description, raw IP address, or full referring URL.
Why we use it
We use submissions to understand demand for custom Delta GBA skins, prioritize requested styles, evaluate the early-access offer, prevent abuse, and invite interested people when early access becomes available. We do not take payment or run automated skin generation in this validation version.
Storage and retention
Submission and analytics data are stored using Cloudflare infrastructure. Email addresses and skin descriptions are retained for no longer than 12 months from submission unless they must be removed earlier. Short-lived pseudonymous rate-limit records are used to prevent abuse.
Your choices
Submitting an idea is optional. You may request access to or deletion of your submission. A dedicated privacy contact will be added before public recruitment begins; it is listed as a launch-blocking item in the project’s completion handoff.
Third parties and affiliation
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, and anti-abuse services. SkinForge is an independent project and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Delta, Nintendo, or their respective owners.
Changes
If collection or use changes materially, the notice version shown beside the form will be updated and new submissions will be asked to accept the revised notice.
This is a technical-preview notice. The operator identity, jurisdiction, and privacy contact must be completed before the page is promoted publicly.
